From memory I think 64-69 was an 11" & 172 tooth flywheel and 1970-71 was 10.5" & 130 tooth flywheel.

I think you'll find that the '64-'65 Hemi (and the '68 race Hemi) used a 130-tooth flywheel with a 10 1/2" clutch.

That would explain why my aluminum bell is smaller than my blow proof (143),what a mess. Makes me wonder why I like mopar so much.

Well that sucks, I just re-read the 68 Super Stock A-Body Authenticity Guide and it does say that the 68 cars used the 10-1/2" clutch. So misinformation out there, so what I did was to buy all the expensive 11" clutch stuff that I didn't need too...

So what specific vehicles used the 172 tooth flywheel and 11" clutch, and which ones used the RC426 bellhousing and which ones used the STEEL bellhousing?

AFAIK
all '66-'69 Hemis had the 172 wheel/11" clutch, except the '68 BO/LO
the STEEL was Maxie and '64-'65 Hemi
the RC will be of two types, '67 RO/WO with the 172 wheel, '68 BO/LO with the 130, I have one for a '67 as it has a 4.35" bearing retainer hole, I'm guessing a '68 will have a 4.80" hole.

68 and 69 B body would have the 172 tooth wheel, RC bellhousing would be a race Hemi thing , maybe the 67 SS B bodys ??? 68 A body ???

Acording to the Authenticity Guide for 68 L0/B0 the STEEL bell is the one that was used. The RC 426 was for the R0/W0?
