1970 Challenger dual exhaust tips - 03/14/12 05:05 PM
Anyone have experience with restoring a set of tips? I have a set of aftermarket ones now that I am not happy with. The dimensions are off fractionally but it's something that I notice. Just wondering if you've restored a set, or had a set restored and if you were happy with the results.

I've been able to find early NOS ones. Those are a lot more correct than the aftermarket ones available today.

ECS indicated they'd have tips also with their new repro exhaust systems. You might want to wait until those are released to see if they meet your standards before attempting to restore an original set.

Thanks guys. I do check for NOS ones, but haven't come across any yet.
