Supplier for 71 Cuda dash "Barracuda" Script / Emblem - 03/06/12 03:41 AM

I am having a hard time finding the correct plaque/emblem/script that goes on the right side on a 1971 Cuda dashpad. Also, what do you use to attach it to a new dash? Any help will be appreciated.

It's self-adhesive backed, Year One.com and other vendors offer it repro

The sticker is easy to get. The hard part to find is the plastic frame that sticks/glues to the dash pad, that the sticker actually sticks to. Frame fits into indention in dash pad, and sticker sticks to the little frame.

Thanks. I think I have the frame. It is all black but there. How should the frame be attached? Adhesive?

Yep...I used emblem adhesive on the one in my Challenger. Some of the frames have 2 little spears (for a lack of a better word) on the back that stabs into the dash pad. I took a small pick and poked 2 tiny holes in the dash pad in the proper places, and used a little emblem glue on each spear...and also a thin line between them.

What is the best way to get the old one off? Do they break easily?
