Has anyone ever sprayed this with a gun using their flattening agent?
I just used the aerosol and I think its a little too glossy so Im leaning towards going with the gun and some flattner.
Man it never ends! Im gonna have enough crap sitting on the shelf to do at least one more car!

I've used both Dave, you do know there's several clears to coat over after dyeing a piece, low luster, satin gloss, and gloss, i usually recommend the clear coats, esp on light colors, or to affect shade/value changes for subtle color shift, just like the factory interior pieces were/are, esp black (SEM Landau black) when doing a whole dash, different sheen clears (low lustre & Satin) create a nice contrast of the same color to differentiate the dash fashia from the surrounding upper/lower pads, or metal frame structures, rather than having it look all the same color/sheen.....that's when it looks dyed to the observer

Im painting the hard interior plastics on a 70 RR. I used the Landau Black and its got more gloss than the original unpainted parts. I also have a new set of the dash parts from B,E&A for the gauges, radio and above the glove box. the new parts are really flat and I didnt want to be too glossy next to them. I did hit one of the test pieces with the low luster clear and it knocked some of the gloss out of the Landau Black but still seems too glossy.
Just wondering if the flattner would help me out?

You might want to give SEM Trim Black a try- might be a little flatter.

The Landau Black had a little less gloss then my original Challenger panels.
Trim Black does have a little less gloss but I don't think it's designed for interior plastics and vynal parts.

when you say bucket seats, are you referring to the supports?
Mine seem to have been gloss Black.

Ive pretty much decided to go with the Landau Black with no clear on the dash pads plastic,A-pillar trim,kick panels,defroster vents,seat backs, and hinge covers and anything I find that I havent mentioned.
