Anyone try this on an anadized part? Scored an NOS 78-Grille for the old Warlock and its GREEN of course. Was wondering it its worth it to try and strip the paint off with brake fluid or not.

Hmmm...

My understanding spray stripper and oven cleaner will both strip the anodizing. Which is what I'm wanting to avoid.

There was an episode of a show on Power Block a couple of weeks ago where they used brake fluid to strip paint of a plastic grill.

Yea, I saw that. I've heard of using it before, but...wasn't sure if it would damage anodizing.

Looks like i'm going to have to experiment.

Paint stripper doesn't hurt anodized coating
