Correct 1968 Hemi Waterpump bolts? - 01/11/12 12:30 AM
I'm trying to figure out which are the correct bolts for my resto 68 Hemi car waterpump housing. Repros have an A with 3 slash grade 5 designation. As I dig thru my mopar bolt collection I'm finding E, S, etc. Anyone out there with an untouched 68 hemi car and know which is right? many thanks

The A bolts for your 4 water pump to the water pump housing bolts should be correct

Someone has published a bolt guide for B-Body cars? My 69's are all H bolts including the long alternator bolt. I am guessing they are the same for 68? I had a 68 440 and the
Water pump housing bolts were H's. It would be the same on a Hemi. The short alternator bracket bolt on the top of the water pump is a slotted head Marsden bolt. Do you have power steering? What bolt markings do you have on your timing cover bolts?

I was checking out the pics and noticed the A pump to housing bolts. Yep the pulley hides them but it will bug me if I don't do it right.
