this car sold at the Mecum auction in Houston , Texas , April 2018 for 72k. perhaps they can pass a message to the new owner?

in the mecum auction it has a 4 speed. you say it had an automatic.

The car was definitely a column auto originally. I have received information that it has been re-bodied and has an obvious fake fender tag. What a shame.

Hey James I remember the car well. My brother discovered it for sale sitting across from papa johns stadium during the muscle cars nationals show. I looked at the car close and remember no tag and a replaced left front rail and rusty c pillar. I beleave one of the French’s bought it and next time I saw it for sale was up in Chicago with Hans Lutech. Can’t beleave that undocumented turd just sold for over $70 hikes!

Hi Tim. Yep, hard to believe it has sold again. I bought the car in 1994 from J. Walton and kept it a few years and sold it to D. Quill who had it for sale at the Muscle Car Nationals. J. French bought it from him and after that began a rapid fire of sales and tranformations. I would love to see it in person again to confirm my suspicions.

If thats the car I think it is, it was hit extremely hard in the left front. No way was that car being saved without a front clip
