1970 Cuda 440-6, 4 speed, FK5, Shaker, left the US late 90's - 11/08/17 08:23 PM

Hi Guys, long shot but wonder if anyone can help with information pertaining to my Cuda.

The car was sold at auction in the US back in the late 90's and shipped over to the UK where believe it or not it was bought by a Lord. I (not a Lord) acquired the car from the 3rd UK owner and had the resto finished, 2 years ago now.

The only history I know about the car is that it originally hailed from Pennsylvania (at least when it was sold) and had a licence plate of 440-6BBL. The car used to drag race so I'm told as the 4 speed was moved back towards the driver and the tunnel had been cut which sort of confirms this. Unfortunately the car doesn't have a build sheet with it and it's been completely apart but does retain it's original door decal which matches the body code plate and engine and drive train etc. and showed a low 34,000 miles which judging by it's overall condition looked believable.

So I'm trying to find out some history on the car, like who owned it before me and if there ever was a build sheet as I'm aware some cars rolled out the factory without one.

This is a fairly unusual car I think being a 4 speed in deep burnt orange metallic with a shaker and super track pack so hopefully someone will remember something about it or know someone that does. It also has the light package and originally the rare V5X body protective mouldings including the black pin stripe. It may have also been on rallye wheels when in the US.

I've included a few pic's, one of the car on it's US plate and two now after resto.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gavin.
