Cost to shorten 8 3/4 and weld on perches?

Local placed told me that it would be $200-$225 to shorten a stripped 8 3/4 housing and weld new perches on (I supply the perches). Sounds high to me. I was thinking $150-ish. I'm I off base here?

Prices vary area to area, But in My Shop Pa I charge $160.00 to shorten a stripped grease free Housing.... If I supply the Perches, I charge $30.00 for the Perches Fully welded
