trans guys, aode/4r70w endplay??

Hello, on this unit..(my first aode/4r70w) should the input shaft move in and out like a 4l60.. I did the check with the .700 bar gauge.. I have 1.636 on the intermed clutch.. and on the hub 1.513.. according to manual its the yellow thrust washer.. but i cannot pull the input shaft in and out.. nor does the manual or the internet show anything like that..

yes with the trans assembled you should have some end play on the input shaft.And i hop you meant .163 and not 1.63
