The temp and readout and all works but blowers stuck on HI. I looked for a resister like the GOOD Cars had but I dont see anything on this thing Anybody know?? Before I pull what hair have left out??

I didn't have this exact problem on my early 02 M, but I did have an eratic ATC problem. I fixed it by pulling the control panel plug a couple times and reinserting it.
Are you familiar with how you remove the bezel? Also, have you disconnected the battery for a few minutes?

I disconnected the battery up at the "jumper remote" positive terminal but not completely at the battery itself. No Im not familiar with bezel removal, is there a trick? Thanks

I had a stereo go crazy, so had to learn. You can pop the whole bezel around the stereo/temp control by working a small flat screw driver behind it gently and popping it out. It is a snap fit, that slides in. That will expose the temp control mounting screws. Good luck with it!

Your car probably does not have a resistor but a ACC control module. They show faults in the SAABs I work on all the time causing the blower motor to never shut off.

I praise Dodge for adding diagnostic codes to the ATC system. It's a big complicated mess with many sensors, servos, doors etc for the vent, defrost and ac all to work together in harmony.

Problem is rarely does that stuff fail. It's most often the ATC head unit itself. And guess what. There is no diagnotic code for an internal failure. Only codes to blame something outside the unit.

My 94 LHS defaulted to high fan, high heat, defrost. Found a used replacement. It failed the same a few years later. Opened up my original and found a crack line of solder on the circuit board.

Resolder both units and they both work again.
