Would a B body 65-67 8 3/4 rear axle work on a 69 Dart

I have a 1965-1967 B body 8 3/4 rear axle and was thinking of putting in a 1969 Dart

B body axle measures--54 1/4 flange to flange where an A body is 52 5/8

I recognize the spring perches need to be moved in by 1/2" on either side

Would this work

You could get the axle to fit, but you would likely need to get rear wheels with more back spacing to make up for the extra width.

Should work fine with some Mustang wheels. 17x8 with 5.72 BS usually fits that rear end in an early A body.
