Which power chip is the best? - 09/06/11 08:11 AM
Was wanting to put a power chip in my 97 dodge ram 1500 with a 360 and was wanting to get some input on which was the best.

Might want to post this up in the "trucks" section. Seems to me when I was looking for upgrades back when I owned my 95 the pickings were slim....and expensive. Not to mention the gains were slim at best.

Pick up an SCT tuner from this guy:

I'm using an SCT tuner on my PT cruiser turbo and picked up 20hp on the dyno. That ain't bad for a plug in tune on a 2.4 motor.

I had a Hypertech for my '01 Ram. Useless. Hated it. In the 87 octane 'performance tune', I had to run 89 or it would ping.
My brother bought a SuperChips for his '01or '02 4.7 Dakota and loves it. Almost as much as the shift kit I put in for him.
