Help me ID my first Hemi.... - 09/04/11 02:41 AM

So I have been looking for a winter project for a potential street rod and this fell into my lap...I haven't even started to degrease it but if anyone could help me ID this beast it would be appreciated. It looks like a 2brl on top so I'm guessing it's not a 392..Also came woth push buttom trans buttons for dash...

My guess, 1956 or 57 341 Desoto, You need to get the numbers that are stamped into the froward rail of the upper block.

Funny, I read this thread and thought the engine looked a LOT like the 341 that I pulled from a 57 Fireflite.

Got the serial #

S23-695II

Looks like its a 1956 330 2brl 8.5:1 230 bhp
