64 Dodge exhaust manifold what to use? - 10/01/08 05:29 PM

I am in the process of putting a 440 in my 64 dodge 330 which had a slant 6. I been looking at headers so I know what will work with this combo but I also like having the cast HP manifolds as well. The max wedge manifolds are pricey. What would be the best cast HP exhaust manifold to use for my application? I have a 67 440 with 915 heads, calculated 10.35:1 compression, voodoo303 cam and 800 cfm carb.

Although I have not actually done it my self I believe the 1968-1970 high performance manifolda will work. Or if you want to put a 1967-70 B Body k frame in your car I know it will work. The later model K will set the engine back 11/2" or so.

I used a set of 70 Hp manifolds on my 64 Plymouth w/440. Fit great and the car ran a best of 12.54 through tailpipes. Makes working on the car easy also.

HP manifolds on 426 wedge, engine in stock location no problems.Forgot have to raise engine to get passenger side on.

Thanks for the info I wanted to see what fit with using the 64 V8 kmember. More options the better chance on finding what I need.
