69 273 timing cover same as 74 360 truck?

Timing cover broke on the 1969 273. Will the timing cover off the 74 truck 360 work? Thanks

it should fit but I believe the timing marks wont be right...

Yes it will work and the 69 should have a timing tab that is bolted on with the two bottom bolts of the water pump. Just transfer this over when you change the cover. At least thats what I did on my 68.
