1997 Caravan-warning light on dash? - 07/01/11 04:58 AM
Can't find my manual so---On the right side of the little black bar on top of the dash; a yellow warning light comes on intermittently. It looks like a wheel or something round. It happened Sunday (again) and I can't seem to remember exactly what it looks like. I thought it was a brake light of some sort...but I think that one says "BRAKE" in red when first starting up the van. What is this little yellow symbol? It comes on after long trips, not around town too.

Sounds like it might be an air bag light.Have the codes pulled.Those were known for the clock spring going bad.Rocky

Rocky is correct...The clock spring is probably toasted..There was a recall on those and if yours wasn't repaired,Chrysler will pick up the tab!

The spring was replaced about 6 yrs ago when the airbag light stayed on. I guess I'll get the codes pulled today. Thank you both!

Put MODIS OBD II on it.....ABS Control Module. Anyone ever have experience with this?

sometimes you can unplug the abs and clean the pin's and it will be o k
