68-9/70 brake lines.

you learn something everyday. Anybody know why the rear brake lines on a 70 8.75 would be differnt than a 68? Did a rear swap this weekend bought a new set of fine line rear lines and...they no fit! had to use an old set (lucky they were still nice.

The fine lines fit the 8.75 that was in the car (70 Charger) but the rear I was putting in was from a 68 RR. I just cleaned up and re-used the original lines. (68 rear) The "T" block is in a different place. Now I have to ask myself, do I buy a hose for a 70 Charger or a 68 RR???

depends , is the body line stop in the same spot for a 68 rr as a 70 charger .

they did the same thing on a bodies , maybe the same year , moved the T block , i redrilled and tapped the axle to put the line in the proper place for the car i was working on as i am pretty sure the line is listed as different also

No idea but I do have access to a few nice 68 RR's . I'll have to do a little looking.
