no speedo or tach & abs light on

My Dad called a couple of days ago and said the tach and speedo stopped working and the ABS light is on. Unfortunately he is a couple of states away or I would check it. It's a 1999 Jeep GCL with a 4.7. He said he checked the fuses and they were good. Has anyone had this happen and if so what did you find? Thanks

A faulty ABS sensor on the rear end could kill the speedo and trigger an ABS light but the tach...?

My Dakota did something like that. It was a broken ground inside the ECM. Have him check all the connectors at the ECM/ABS units to make sure they are not loose or corroded.

This is a fairly common problem on the Rams. On those it's a speed sensor in the rear differential.
Is this your problem? I have no idea.
