04 Ram 5.7 vs an 06 Ram 5.7

How much changed from the 04 ram 5.7 to the 06 ram 5.7. The reason that I ask, is I have a 0 mile 04 that is going into my E-body, and I can get an 06 that blew the bottom end out for parts for $50. Heads, water pump, intake, coils, sensors, is it all the same, is it worth holding onto just in-case?

Never mind, the engine is laying open to mother nature. It's scrap iron.
