I am getting most of the grime off the engine bay in my 74 Duster in preparation for paint and a fresh 340 and transmission.
While I am there I would like to clean up the wires a little bit and am looking for ideas on how to do so.

I need the headlights and blinkers, the wiper wires, ECU, voltage regulator, ballast resistor and the starter relay. I can't really think of anything else except the wires that run up to the alternator. My battery is going in the trunk.

Anyone have any pics of how they ran their wiring or placement of these items?

As far as clean up, I have used carb cleaner to wipe the wires from one end to the other and then re-wrap them with the proper tape and in the proper routing. If you are talking about making them disappear, I haven't done much of that in the past but the pervious post looks sweet, but where are the headlight/blinker wires??

headlight wires run out of the firewall along the underside of the inner fender.
it can run just as easily on the topside,i just didn't want to see them
