Master Cylinder to Booster Spacer Gasket-69 Superbee?? - 04/21/11 01:50 PM

Just pulled the master cylinder/power brake booster unit out of my 69 Super Bee with power drum brakes. The unit is a Midland Ross banded type that has an aluminum spacer in between the back of the master cylinder and in front of the power brake booster. This aluminum spacer has a white plastic cover with a filter inside of it. My question is: All of the resto parts guys sell a white foam rectangular gasket that is supposed to go behind the master rear mounting flange on, what they describe as "ALL APPLICATIONS". Well, my Bee didn't have a gasket at the rear of the master, nor is any shown in the Factory '69 Dodge service manual. The factory diagrams show the master being mounted directly to the booster with only the aluminum spacer in between - no gasket. Can anyone confirm if the white foam gasket was used from the factory on this application? Pics attached. Thanks

Does anyone make a replacement filter to go inside of the aluminum spacer - mine is shot - see pic. Looks like the lower half of the filter is missing.
