..Do they all use the same spindles or do earlier spindles
use smaller wheel bearings?(70,71)

70, 71, 72, use the smaller diameter inner wheel bearing.
73, 74, use the larger diameter inner wheel bearing.
So 70, 71, 72, spindles are the same.
73, 74, spindles are the same.

E body was a "parts bin" car to save development money. So a lot of parts are the same as used on other models.

For disc brake knuckles, E body 1972 and earlier are the smll bearing B body parts. 1973 and later are the big bearing A body parts.

Just to add to this...

I'm restoring my 70 B body that has the smaller spindle and two piece rotors.

Moparts members tell me to buy a spindle sleeve from DR DIFF that allows you to use the less expensive and more reliable one piece rotor used on 73 and up mopar.

I ordered the spindle sleeve yesterday. I'll let you know how I make out.

..thanks,exactly the info i was looking for.
i'm considering buying a '72 Cuda...an older resto that needs brakes so thought i'd do a little research.
