Does aluminum need coating/anodizing to resist gasahol?

Do aluminum carb parts need some type of coating or anodizing in order to resist the corrosive effects of gasoline blended w/ alcohol? This would apply to aluminum main bodies, etc. that would have direct exposure to the air/fuel mixture during operation.
