Edelbrock carb question

yep eddie sells the mopar throttle adaptor and you use the throttle stud from the 2-v carb to hook the cable and throttle pressure valve linkage up

most times you can lengthen the TPV linkage from intake bell crank to the carb 1.5" or so and bend it around and make the 2-v linkage work

this is important to keep the tranz from burning up and to have the shift points set correctly

when you go from the SB to the BB you will need BB TPV linkage for your yr b-body

I dont thin any of the SB stuff will fit or work for the swap

I sugest you locate these parts before swaping in the BB along with the BB tranz

you shift likage should hook up from SB 727 to BB 727 with maybe some adjustments..IIRC

most important is to have the throttle pressurevalve linkage hooked up and adjusted correctly

thats the most important thing on the auto tranz

the lokar cable is an option but not as good as the Bouchillon one

full manual valve body,linkage not needed..thats the way i went with my 88 440 truck...stock linkage for a truck was pricy

Here's my 340 with a 1405 600 manuel choke Eddie carb. BTW a manuel choke Eddie is way better for performance than a electric choke model. I would never want one.
This setup(throttle bracket and trans linkage) has been cut on, welded on, modified since the late 70s. It has been used on at least 5 different manifolds over the years. But it give you and idea of what the brackets look like. This one's a driver and I don't worry about cleaning the engine. As long as it don't leak oil, I don't touch it.
It looked the same after running it hard at Bonneville. No oil leaks!

Nitrous trigger equipped.

I don't use a choke cable, although here lately I've been thinking about putting one on...Only because I have driven the car in cold climates, like at the top of Pikes Peak.

These 2 pictures were taken after I drove the crap out of it on the salt in Utah. I disconnected the vacumn advance because I wanted to be sure my motor would be good at hi speed at miles at a time. It lived and going back this year. It went 118 MPH last year not really trying, watch out this year.

I tried this RPM manifold, it was a dog compared to a Victor340 which I currently run.

what is the link chain for?

throttle stop?

NOS micro pull switch for WOT only?

I need to add something like that for when my boy drives my truck
