Any body running these heads.Good or bad any input would be helpful.Been running warmed over 906's But tired of putting money in steel heads. Thanks Scott

I run a set on a 496. Great head. Lots of folks run "out of the box" but a once over before use is a good idea. Check guide fit and upgrade to 10 degree locks and retainers if using a larger cam.

Both of mine were put on right out of the box with no issues, small block and BB heads. They are street cars, not race cars.

If I was building a race engine then yes I would take them apart first, but I would probably be running different heads.

Ok sound good. Any suggestions on where to buy a set.Looked at Mancini Racing Looked like the best deal so far. Thanks for the info Scott

Mancini has always treated me well. In rare cases where there was a problem (including I ordered the wrong part) were very responsive.
