I got a V8 904 trans with maybe a bad valve body & was wondering if thear would be any pressure differentes if you used a valve body form a 904 6cl ?

No the VB should be the same , you could compare the distance of the adjusting plate on the pressure regulator between the 2 , otherwise throw it in and go .

well, fall 2009 it wint out on me & I had it rebuilt by my Mechanic with new disc, new, stock none lock up TC & some other stock parts that I had to order, but I had to get the Front Ring Gear from a good 904 6cl trans that I got, because the place I got the parts from did not have it & the VB should be Stock because it was never changed out. The problem is that it don't hold back when you pull it down in second gear & my Mechanic tould me its eather kickdown band needs readjusting or when it went out on me the metal going in the VB may have scratch it & he missed that when he had it apart, so if it is the VB then, I'm just going to use the one from my 6cl 904.

it wont shift down into 2nd when you shift down to manual 2nd? And it did b 4?

Yes, when you pull it down in second gear by hand it don't hold back, but drive works like it did & first holds back good, but second was holdin back just fine befour I had it redone!
