DIPSTICK SLEEVE REMOVAL?

I have a stainless steel dipstick I purchased from Milodon for my 340. This installation requires that I remove the small sleeve that appears pressed in the block which receives the standard dipstick. Any suggestions on how to remove this piece would be greatly appreciated.

That sleeve is a broken off part of the old dipstick tube and you can try a easy out or drop the panand drive it back out.
