sealing exhaust manifold studs in heads (440)

Do you use a thread sealer like permatex high temp sealer or ARP thread sealer

or

something like permatex 2 on the threads?

Permatex hi-temp Gold,...no issues

Actually if you use studs they seal themseles.I use nothing but silver antisieze.Even when we use bolts ob headers where studs wont fit they dont leak with antisieze.That and they will come right out if you need to replace them.Rocky
