Exhaust stud

I have my exhaust studs ready to go in and I noticed I have a longer stud...I have a 68 gtx with 440 and air...1 air bracket goes to an exhaust stud with manifold and sparkplug wire bracket..Is this where the long one should be?..thanks for any help
