lug nut , wheel stud problem - 03/14/11 01:17 AM
Looks like the previous owner put on the wrong lugs for the studs. Now three of them are stuck on the stud and the stud will just spin.It has wheel adapters on it, small to big lug pattern.Any ideas how to get the lugs off without using a tourch? There not enough room to get a saw on it. Thanks

I assume youve tried an Impact right? And these are not LH thread right?
Drill them out by holding the lug steady with a socket, while drilling down the center of the socket. (Hold socket with vise grips).
Gonna take some good drill bits and lotsa patience.

If it is on the front and has drum brakes you can remove wheel tire and drum as one piece and cut the studs off from the back of the drum.

Hello:
Had the same situation on my sons road runner, junk Cragers with adapters and striped lug nuts.
Nothing fancy or mysterious just used the "Hot Wrench."
