Will a 318 polly trans bolt up to a 318 LA engine? - 03/10/11 04:55 AM

Can anyone tell me if a 1964-65 727 automatic transmission that is bolted up to a 318 Polly engine...also bolt up to a 318-340-360 LA Engine????

Oh yeah... with a solid recomendation like that, why not have one rebuilt and get a new converter while you're at it.

Hey clown if you know if it will or if it wont then post it EDIT he's certainly not going to make or not make a purchase until he finds out definitely & my ans was to give him encouragement that the odds are very good that it will fit from when I dealt w one way back

yes,I pulled a 65 polly 318 and installed a 67 318 on the same tranz

used the same TC

a 360 would need a correct balance TC to swap it in and be correct

the polly with swap a few parts to the LA318

crank
t-chain and cover
oil pump
flex plate
TC and tranz
fuel pump

just a few things I know of
