Real world mileage Dodge Durango??

What kind of mileage are the durangos getting?
List year and engine 2wd or 4wd.
My brother in law wants to know what kind of highway mileage they get. Specifically the 318.

2003 durango 4x4 4.7 with 3.92 grear 14 to 17 depending on weather and my foot

I took my brother s 2004 hemi all wheel drive to PA i got it up to 24MPG. The best i ever got out of it. Then we do alot of driving for work and usually got 12.5 to 13 mpg.

2002 4.7 4x4 w/3.55's

Best hwy. 19 mpg. (Usually 17-18)

Best city 13 mpg. (Usually 11-12)

'99 2WD 318 best of 18 on highway
'00 2WD 360 15ish on highway

2006 2wd Hemi w/ MDS

14-15 mpg in town
20-22 mpg driving 75mph on highway

2004 2wd Hemi (pre MDS)

11-13 mpg in town
15-19 mpg highway

'99 5.9/4WD/3.55s - 15 city/18 hwy @70mph/21-22 hwy @55mph

Friend has identical truck, 5.2/4WD/3.92s - 13 city - same highway mpg.

The torque of the 360 helps to get the truck moving a bit more efficiently. (they are heavy - ~5500# empty)

With YYSKI... I have a 99 2wd with the 5.9. I get his same numbers. what I do like is that it doesn't loose much towing. I hauled my 69 GTX from Florida to Columbus (Mopar Nats) on an open trailer running 80mph on flat land and 75 through the mountains and got 12 mpg. I found my self towing same said GTX at 94mph down the Fl turnpike once....Yeah yeah I know... slow down!

My wifes 07 Hemi Durango drinks gas like its free.

2003 4x4 4.7....get about 14 mpg
