Do they interchange with 73-4 satellite?Also will a 71-2 deck lid interchange witrh a 73-4?

I don't think the 71 - 72 doors will swap. I believe the trunk lids do.

71-74 doors will work together, hinges are actually better design on 73-74. 71-74 trunks will work. Fron clip completely different. No lower valances on 73-74. Quarters different. 71-74 dash is the same. Rear windows different.

71/2 totally different door than 73/4
73/4 deck lid will work but has larger lock hole and no wing cut outs.
74 had different hinges that 71/3
rear window same 71/4 all 2 door B's
Dashes different. 71. 72/3 and 74 on the clusters. 71/2 and 73/4 and the frames.
My
after owning over 60 71/4B's.

The 71-72 has the body line pressed into the lower part of door door where a 73-74 door is smooth in that area because those cars didn't have that body line. I suspect a 73-74 door could be bolted onto a 71-72 rr/satellite but the body line in the door would definitely be a very noticeable mismatch. I don't know about how the rest of the door would fit either. The 71-72 door may also be different in the area where it meets the rear 1/4 window area.

the radius along line on the the top of the door is different too
also, the 73-4 doors are flat in the area of where the mirror bolts on, 71-2 have a contour in that area

So we have not helped the OP very much here . One is saying one thing and another is saying something totally diff.
One poster is saying he has owned over 60 b bods and the 73 and 74s have no front valences. I have to disagree , I think they do, the 71 -2 doors are diff from 73-74s. Just my observation from owning just a several b bods .
So who's right here ?????

The hinges may work, but as others are pointing out the doors and other parts are not the same.
The other advice is correct...the 73/74 cars are WAY different than the 71/72 B bodies.
Good advice for 71/72 owners is to NOT look at 73/74 cars for parts. Maybe the glass and a few interior trim pieces, but for the most part there are vast differences between these cars. I have argued with way to many bozo's at swap meets with 71-74 marked on fenders, door, etc. I am quite sure that people have gotten burned by buying a 73 door or fender and then bolting it on the car only to find that it doesn't line up worth a darn. Its a pet peeve of mine...

1971 & 72 2 door Satellite roof is the same as 73 & 74 Charger.

Thanks for the help.A guy had a 73-4 rr hood for sale and 71-4 doors.It looks like the 71-2 doors are different.
