trans techs, 97 604 netral switch ???

HELLO,i need help asap.. i am working on a 97/98 caravan..build date 9/97 im going to replace the Valve Body when I noticed the Net saftety switches are different between the two VB's.. the original Vb had the bullet/round type switch.. the new VB (replacement) HAS the spade term.. can i just swap the net switch? the sep plate number is 66 on both Vb units.. the rooster comb looks the same..

I don't think they are interchangable.

I remember a tsb or somethign of the likes saying to replace the end of the wiring when updating the VB +/or range sensor switch

if there is a way you can find out please let me know..
everything looks the same except the termanals.. but id like to know for sure..

I can tell you at the dealer when we would replace some tranny's of certain years they only came in the new style terminals and they came with the updated wire harness end. We had to cut the harness and solder the new connector in. Ron

mopar makes an adapter harness. no cutting required. plug and play.

thanks, but i did call and speak to the the VB tech .. and he said all i have to do is swap the switch.. since the VB is out thats what im going to do..
