What product works best for keeping a dash pad nice?

I'd like to know what product works best for keeping a dash pad soft and pliable? I've heard people say that Armor All isn't all that great and there are better treatments available. What do you recommend?

My upholsterer told me to use a damp cloth to wipe down all interior surfaces, and car washing soap and water for vinyl tops etc. He warned that once you start putting anything on them, you have to keep using that product all the time. Once you stop using it, it will dry out and age at an accelerated rate.
