That what I have in my 1 ton dually dana 70. I went from a 4.56 to the 3.54's. It's a work truck and has had many 15k loads behind it and not 1 issue in over 4 years.

That MIGHT be the same brand Randys sells & they state up front that they are not quiet running but in a circle track (for me) it's a non issue, street would be a different story. HOW noisy they are I do not know

You might be surprised how many reputable gear sellers offer repackaged Motived Gears.

Randy's in-house brands are supposedly made in India.

Are they any good for a casual cruiser...no drag racing or high mileage?
If set up correctly will they be quite?

I work in a Driveline Shop in PA. www.GreensburgMachine.com, We set up about 300 Car and Truck Differentials a Year,
We use some Motive Gears, But when we do its always the Motive Performance, They do a another laping process to Make them Quiter over the regular Motive. We have ok luck with them in a 8 3/4s. But in some other types of rears they can be noisey, The 9 1/4 is one, Strength wise, They are Not too bad.. I Do prefer, OEM Gears 1st, Then US Gear or Strange over the Motive Performance, depending on Ratio and availability.. Bottom Line.. If You Go with the Motive Performace and they are set up right. You will be just fine

I didn't realize he is on here. I hang out mostly on the restoration side of things.

Also the opinion of the person selling the parts may differ from the opinion of people buying and using the parts. No offence intended

As mentined above motive offers gears for different setups.stock/performance.And i also agree that the 9 1/4 ones are noisey(pretty much any brand)except oem ones.

Not to come off like a commercial for the guy, but Dr Diff probably installs more gear sets than he ships. And is a straight shooter.
