70 Charger engine/dash wiring harnesses work 68 Charger

Will a engine and dash wiring harness out of a 70 Charger with 383 work in a 68 Charger with 440?

I dont care about originality. I just want function.

One thing that will not work is the connector for the ignition switch as 70 has it in the column and 68 is in the dash.Everything else MAY be the same but i am not sure.Engine harness may work but 70 had the dual field alternator and electronic voltage regulator.

Don't forget all the headlight stuff being different with being vacuum vs electric for the doors..

I think the dash side wiring will still work for the headlights as i believe the connectors are the same but i have never tryed it and i think 70 had one or two relays for the headlights that 68-69 did not have.

I wasn't 100% sure....been a bunch of years since I had a '70 Charger and had to do some dash wiring work to it

Buy a new Year One M&H harness for your 68, don't rely on 40 year old wiring, plus "monkeing" it into the 68 to try and make it work

ummm I think both hare different. I know the dash is. You might be able to make it work, but I'd try and find a 68-69 harness.
