Need help selecting a NOS system for drag racing - 09/06/08 05:03 AM

I have never used a NOS system and I am planning on installing one on my Cuda drag car. Currently my car has a 511 c.i. hard block with 11-1 flat top Wiseco pistons and a 440 crank stroked 4.25. This car has a GM powerglide trans with a 5000 stall speed and a 1050 dominator carb. Currently the car runs 10.40's in the 1/4 mile without a NOS system but I am determined to get it down under 10 sec. I do not have any knowledge when it comes to the NOS and I need some MOPAR professional help in selecting a good NOS fogger system to get me under 10 seconds. Is there any fellow Mopar racers who can lend me their expertise and opinions in selecting the right system? Thanks for any help.

PM member Monte Smith. He is the nitrous guru here.

I'd use a two stage system. Leave on the low side, wire it with a delay relay so it hits the high side just after the high gear shift. Get ready for another 1000 or more rpm on the other end.
