Where are the identification number on the linkage so I can determine which car my linkage belongs on? Or is there a contact page to Hurst (tried Hurst and Mr Gasket but they do NOT have contact info on their page) that I can go direct with?

Shifter linkage does not have any part #s on them. I have pics of most on my website you can use to identify what you have.

The factory Hurst mechanism has a 4-digit number stamped in the Reverse lever.

2336= '64-'65 A & B Body

6353= '68-'69 B Body and '68-up A body

7174= '70 only B Body

7180= '70-'74 E Body and '71-up B Body

My ? Don't rely on just the numbers stamped into the reverse lever to ID your shifter. I have no doubt John's info above is accurate, but I've removed three shifters out of A-833 O.D. vans and all had the #6353 reverse lever, too. Here are the three van shifter levers after bead blasting:

The 6353 is used on later models in addition to the earlier A-B bodies.
