Adjustable axle bearings with cone type posi

I know when you are using the stock type axles with end play adjustment there are pins on the sure grip unit to aid in the end play adjustment. Can I use the stock setup with an auburn posi unit? What acts to help transfer the end play to each axle like the pins in the sure grip(clutch) unit? Thanks

they have a sliding thrust block on the pin for the spider gears

or it has the buttons/roll pin
