Quote:Drill horizontally into the back of the head then down at an angle from inside the threads in the rear pedestal (want about an .080" orifice, a carb jet works in the back of the head) then feed them from a T at either of the NPT ports at the top rear on the block. this lets you drill/tap the vertical passages from the crank to the cam & screw in a setscrew w a 1/16" hole in each one. And this is the prob that too much oil leaks from (especially) the #4 cam journal potentially starving the rods that are fed from the #4 crank journal. If not externally feeding the heads the #4 should be restricted to 1/8 and the other (4) to 1/16 and if externally feeding then restrict em all to 1/16. The rocker arm assy's themselves have no oiling probs just have the small oiling holes in the shaft down and closer to the fulcrum (offset slightly toward the valve side)
Can any simple improvements be made to the rocker oiling system?
