Good Stock Replacement Clutch - 11/14/10 11:31 PM

I'm putting together a stock 383 for my 69 Dart with a 4-speed. What do you guys recommend for a clutch/pressure plate. Car is going to be a cruiser. I've been looking at the McLeod Street Pro 71509 from Summit. Just looking for a budget-minded setup with good quality.

for a stock replacement you can't beat a Luk clutch set up

I 2ns this choice Centerforce pressure plates are LUK ones with their weights added. I think is why you cant buy Centerforce disks by themselves. To prevent people from just switching the weights to a new LUK PP, which is a bunch cheaper then to buy it from CF.

For a stock clutch replacement the LuK repsets are a good value. Here's the last one I used in a 1974 360 4-speed Duster

If your going to beat on it I would recommend a Center force dual friction. By far the best street clutch I have ever had. Many drag strip passes and street driving. Never slipped, smelled, chattered or even needed adjustment. This is in my small block Challenger,12.52@110 best. Over 100 passes with slicks.
