Looks stout, but I won't run power brakes in an a-body. There's just no need.

I yanked everything out of a 74 dart for my 68 Barracuda. Upper control arms, spindles, calipers and rotors, brake lines and booster assembly. Stops on a dime and power brakes are very nice to have on an A-body.

I had understood that PB are more for driver comfort and do not add alot of brake force . If so they'd be of benefit in an easy driven car where the loss of feel would not be a prob. Any thoughts as I'm deciding whether to add them myself & never having had them I feel deprived

I don't know why people still insist on this.

It depends on what you're used to. Every one of my 24 cars over the years, from old Mopars to new cars, has had power brakes. Every time I've driven my brother's '67 Barracuda with manual disks, it's scared the hell out of me when it's time to stop. Maybe I'm not as big and burly as some, but I shouldn't have to be just to enjoy an old car. I'd much rather have too much stopping power than too little.

I've heard the same thing about power steering on a-bodies. I've also owned several manual steering cars over the years (including a few a-bodies), and while I didn't consider them dangerous, I STILL prefer the comfort and convenience of power steering.

I don't want to "work" when I'm driving an old car. Guess that makes me a wuss.

No. I'm the Wuss here. Check my sig.

The 11" hemi drums on the Coronet are just right for me. Coming off a ramp too fast, they are there when you need them. Just need a little pressure.

When I got my first a-body (1978) I was 5'10" (I'm still 5'10") and a whopping 125lbs dripping wet. I had no trouble driving the 66 Dart GT with manual steering and manual brakes (10" drums). My next one was a 66 Barracuda with a four speed and manual steering along with manual disc/drum brakes. My wife (all 5'3" of her) had no trouble with the manual drum brakes on our GTS convertible.

With that said, I am keeping the power steering in the GTS and my Barracuda convertible and we are adding it to my son's 67 Dart convertible. Half out of driving ease in parking lots and half because good manual gears are hard to find and expensive when you do.
