E Body Trans Crossmember. Need pictures - 10/26/10 07:02 PM

I have 2 at the shop and do not know which one to use..

Anyone have a pic of one so I will know which to use? Or I can take a pic of both of the ones I have..

Need a little more info.

What year? They changed the bolt hoel spacign where it mounts to the tosion bar crossmember

Auto or manual?

72 .. Car was a manual from the factory but now has a 727 to go in it. One of th eones I have, have an extra pc off the center of the mount and one just goes straight across..

I hate to put the motor and all in and not have the correct mount. I am a diabetic that is almost disabled now and doing duplicate work is not a good thing.

This is the tranny mount from a 72 'Cuda. It will fit either a Auto or standard.

It looks like the same as this 1970 one. My 73 looks the same as well.

I think they're all the same. Keisler only has one for the conversion so they must all be same. But, I don't really know.

The one with the extra piece off the center is the correct one , automatic and std transmission have the mount location in the same place starting in 1970.

is that your car? Man I wish one day I would have a car that clean.. My new Nitro is not that nice....LOL

CudaJon... Nope those did not work either.. They woul dhave to be uploaded through the post. When you go to preview the reply there is an upload area there...

What's so crazy about it ? that was the type of mount used on everything from either 71 or 72 up on rear wheel drive mopars cars .

Kinda makes you think when you know 90% of the frame rails are made from the same gauge metal. The frame connecters I made are almost twice as heavy as that.

In 72,the trans mount crossmember changed part#'s,according to the parts book.By the parts book # the crossmember only fits 72,manual or auto,fitting B,J,R,W.. John.
