torque band symptoms

Can anyone tell me the symptoms, of "loose" torque bands on a 727. Mine just feels sluggish and im just curious if anyone may have some suggestions. The shift arent crisp and it just seems like its not grabbing good. It has a shift kit and a 2000 stall. Any suggestions?

The kickdown (front) band is used for 2nd gear, a really loose kickdown band can affect both the 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts.
