6.1 hemi , power mustang 2 rack. will the pump work?

i have a 6.1 that is in a car with a mustang 2 power rack . will the stock 6.1 pump work with the mustang 2 rack?

I was told no. The stock SRT8 pump has too much pressure for the rack. Bouchillon performance sells a fitting to make it compatible.

i called them and they said that that fitting is to be used with the conversion pump they sell for $350 and it wont work on the original pump.
there has to be some way to use the original pump.
