possible sensor location - 09/29/10 11:11 PM

I was wondering if anybody knew a good spot to mount a thermal temp switch? I have the manifold used for the thermal probe of the temp gauge, but I need to mount a switch so I need another spot. Any ideas?

A little more info might be helpful in understanding what you're trying to accomplish...

got a pic of the intake and top side of engine

what do we have to work with?

I have used a tee in the heater hose for a temp probe before

i have drilled and tapped and water jacket in the intake on a holley street dom intake

IIRC,they make a piece to mount in the rad hose and has a bung for the sender..cut hose and use to clamps to slice it in

shouldnt take much to fab some thing that looks good up

Drill and tap the intake manifold.

This is a challenge if the probe or sensor is long.
