when to run a tranny cooler - 09/29/10 05:19 PM
Im using a t/c that has been flashed to about 2800-3200 rpm .what determines when i should run a external oil cooler over the stock in rad unit.
Quote:thanks I allready have a deep pan and pom. ill run a external cooler also.
Higher stall will make more heat. if you just tool around town with that lower stall your stock cooler should be ok, but if your going to stall/flash it a lot and close together it might heat the fluid good.I would at least run a deeper pan that will hold 2 to 4 quarts more.
Quote:good idea on a stock TC & I run one on everything & as said a must w your stall. Largest one you can fit in there
