Had my frame connectors welded on today

Just heavy wall 2x2 box tubing and not welded to the floor pan. But it stiffened up the feel and ride real nice. Originally a 6cyl car so it didn't have any torque boxes either.

My local muffler shop welded them on for $50 on a drive on lift.

Now what job will be next? Maybe upper door gaskets as they're about shot.

Looks nice, do you have a pic of other end?
How did you form the curve?

Bought them on Ebay for $90. Here's the front pic. I know weld into floor pan connectors are better but these really did tighten the feel of a 40 yr old car and reduced road/body noise also.

Frame ties were probably one of the best upgrades I did to the car. Handling and driving difference were almost night and day. They even made a handy spot to bolt the drive shaft safety loop in place.
